Eligibility Criteria for Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Posts
Station Fire Officer – Bachelor’s degree of Engineering (Fire) from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or any other recognized University/ Institution OR Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University/ Institution
Fireman – 12th passed
Driver – 10th passed and five years experience
SDE (Civil) – Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.Degree obtained through distance education mode not accepted.To pass the Prescribed Departmental professional exam after joining/promotion in service.
Jr. Engineer – Diploma in Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.
Draftsman – 10th passed, ITI and 5 years experience
Clerk – Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/ institution and proficiency in operation of computer
(Word processing and spread sheets) and a speed of 35 word per minutes in English typewriting
Steno-typist – Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/ institution and proficiency in operation of computer
(Word processing and spread sheets) and a speed of 80 word per minutes in English typewriting
Data Entry Operator – Graduate from the recognized Institution and Data Entry Course of one year from a recognized institution having one year experience as Data Entry Operator. Should posses a speed of not less than 8000 keys depressions per hour for data entry work
Patwari – Matriculation of a recognized University or its equivalent or 10+2 pass. Patwar examination from a recognized institution. Preference to candidates with experience in revenue work.
