Online applications are invited for the engagement of 3093 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for training at various Divisions/Units/Workshops over Northern Railway. The training does not guarantee employment in the railway after completion.

Eligibility Criteria for Northern Railway Apprentice:
- Educational Qualification: SSC/Matriculation/10th class with minimum 50% marks and ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India.
- Age Limit: 15 to 24 years as of 20.10.2021 (Relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen as per rules).

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on merit, considering the average percentage marks obtained in Matriculation/SSC/10th and ITI examination. Screening & Scrutiny will be conducted, and a final merit list will be prepared.

Medical Fitness & Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the minimum standards of physical fitness as per the Apprentices Act 1961. A medical certificate from a government-authorized doctor is required.
Period of Training & Stipend: As per rules applicable under the Apprentices Act 1961.
Agreement of Training: Selected candidates, or their guardians if minors, must enter into a Contract of Apprenticeship Training before the commencement of training.

Eligible candidates should submit their online application form through RRC Northern Railway Portal (rrcnr.org) from 11th December 2023. Applicant must upload required documents / certificates (Date of Birth, SSC, ITI Mark Sheet, NCVT / SCVT, Community Certificate) with the online application. The last date for registration of online applications is 11/01/2024 up to 24:00 Hours.
